El juego perfecto para debatir! Habilidad super importante a desarrollar en nuestros/as estudiantes. Incluimos tarjetas con frases para que se animen mas y otra con temas mas polemicos por si se animan! Acá te lo explico:

Students have to argue FOR or AGAINST the statement

2 levels – 49 cards: 38 topics – 8 for/against cards – 2 cards with phrases – 1 card with controversial topics

How to play

1/ Divide the students into pairs or teams. 2/ The first player draws one card from each pile (one topic card and one position card). 3/ Players have a few seconds to prepare their arguments for or against the statement, at least 2 or 3 reasons to support their position. 4/ The player presents his/her arguments. 5/ After he/she finishes, the opposing team can ask questions or offer counterarguments. 6/ The next player draws new cards and continues with the debate process. 7/ After each round, you can give points based on the strength of the arguments and use of English. However, the main focus of the game is practicing speaking and debating skills rather than competition.
